We have been wwoof hosts for the past 7 years.

     Granja Ecologica Tixib is a Permaculture Hands-On Training Farm, as such, we give registered   
      wwofers, and non-woofers as well, the opportunity to train and practice deep in Permaculture in two
      different environments, one, as volunteer and another as an enrolled student in our courses, both,
     with opportunities to learn and experience hands on.

PERMACULTURE DESIGN COURSE INTERNSHIP

DURATION: 14 DAYS / TWO WEEKS/ internship at GRANJA TIXIB.

COST: $ 1,000.00 Dlls/u.s.

DIRECTED TO:
    People interested in Permaculture, sustainable and organic practice and its application, arquitects,
    landscape designers, farmers, environmental educators and public in general with a desire to approach
    sustentability with practical knowledge.

GROUP:
    4 people maximum
    2 people minimum

COURSES:
    Intoduction to Permaculture Course  (certificate)
    Permaculture Design Course           (certificate)
    Introduction to Bio-Regionalism
    Introduction to Consensus and Facilitation
    Introduction to Ecovillage Design
    Introduction to Cob construction
    Basic Spanish Conversation

WORKSHOPS:
    Recycled paper making.
    Chocolate making.
    Cheese making.
    Wine making.
    Bread making.

PRACTICE:
    Students will participate in everyday chores during their stay in order to practice.
    Students will participate in specific season projects at the farm to practice.
    Students will visit other projects in the area and will participate to practice.

WORK MATERIAL:
    We will provide all tools and work material as pencils, crayons, etc, etc. Your own copy of text book
    included in fee .We provide work gloves but no work clothes.

FREE TIME:
    Students will have enough free time to visit and rest. Sunday are free days, except when interested
    in participating on specific projects.

ROOM AND BOARD:
    The fee includes a clean bed in a shared rustic wooden cabin for two, hot semi-solar shower, latrine
    out house, communal dinning room and living room. Three meals a day, mostly vegetarian, will be
    served at regular schedules. We do not offer laundry service.
    Internet wireless connection available.

AIRPOT PICK UP:
    We offer to pick you up at Mexico City Airport at your arrival and take you back for your leave if
    you need to. We can drive you to and from the Cuernavaca Bus depot instead if you need to.
